Thanks for joining us here at Kingdom Hearts Myriad! This is the General Character Handbook, which basically covers all the rules regarding characters.
1. All members are allowed to have up to 5 characters at one time. You are not allowed to have more than 5, so please understand that you cannot pretend to be someone else just to play more characters. We check IP addresses, so you've been forewarned.
2. You may not play a character from another anime or game series, however if you wish to use that character's appearance from that series for an OC then you are welcome to do so. We will have a face claim so that two OC's don't wind up with the same appearance by coincidence. This is so we don't have carbon copies of Master Chief or Mario running around here.
3. You're allowed to apply for a canon here right off the bat, meaning that you don't have to wait for a certain amount of posts before you can post an audition. Your sample RP in your character profile will be judged as your audition for the character, as well as the quality of the profile itself. This is so we know you know the character you're applying for and can RP them with ease. The better you know your character allows you to accurately determine how they would react in different scenarios. So it's not just for the benefit of the story, but also a benefit on your part to become a better writer. So put some effort into it.
4. For Canon Characters use the Canon Template. For Original Characters use the OC Template.
5. You are allowed to have a maximum of up to two (2) Original Characters at a time, both of which will count as one of your five total characters. You are allowed all canons if you don't prefer to play an OC. To start off, you are permitted to apply for an Original as your first character, however we the staff will be looking for a very well written profile. If it is denied and you are asked to try for a Canon, or if you decide to start off with a Canon to begin with, then you will only need 20 posts to be able to apply for your first Original. To get a second Original you will have to acquire 100 posts on your first OC's profile.
6. We will not allow any clones or copies of any characters here on the site. The closest thing that comes close to a copy would be an Absent Silhouette, however they are strictly forbidden and will only be played by staff for plot purposes should the situation arise.
7. If you wish your character to wield a Keyblade, then you need to PM a Staff member regarding this weapon for permission. They are extremely rare and cannot be possessed by just anybody, so for this reason alone is why you will need permission to obtain one for your Original. If you play a Canon who already wields a Keyblade, then you are exempt from this for that character as this only applies to OC's.
8. For Posting with your characters: when your character leaves a thread, you must place, in bold -" (Character's Name) Has Left This Thread" or simply "Exit Thread"- at the bottom of your post. When everyone exits the thread, the last person in there must post, in bold, "End Thread". The last person to reply to the thread must pm an admin that the topic has ended and the staff member will lock and move your thread(s) to the Archives.
